Privacy
Short version. Nothing you draw or type leaves your browser. We collect no analytics and keep no user database. Drafting needs no account; plugins and companion apps ask you to sign in with Google, and even then we store nothing.
What we collect today
Nothing.
Pixie Space runs entirely in your browser. Drawings stay in the tab until you close it, or in a file you save to your own machine. We have no servers that receive or store your work, and no database of users.
Signing in
The free drafting canvas needs no sign-in. Plugins, the features Pixie Space loads on demand, and companion applications such as Pixie Hologram ask you to sign in with Google first.
Sign-in is Google OAuth. Google handles the identity; the sign-in token stays in your browser and is presented only to check that a plugin download or companion app may proceed. We run no account database, so there is no profile, no stored email list, and nothing to breach on our side. Signing out, or clearing your browser data, removes the token.
What Google records about the sign-in is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
What stays in your browser
Pixie Space saves a few preferences to your browser's local storage, so the app remembers them between visits:
- Keyboard shortcut customizations.
- Panel positions, sizes, and which ones you've collapsed.
- Whether you've already seen the welcome modal.
These never leave your machine. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What our hosts see
Like every website, Pixie sites flow through CDN edge servers that log IP addresses and request metadata for routing and abuse protection. We don't run analytics on top of those logs.
Email sent to pavel@pixiepavel.com is forwarded to a Gmail inbox, with the standard Gmail handling that implies.
What changes when the production modules ship
The features that have shipped so far all compute locally. Pixie Hologram, Gravity auto sew, Gravity auto place, and the Generation magic pencil run in your browser: they download after sign-in, then work on your machine. Your pattern is never uploaded to run them.
The remaining production modules are coming features: Pixie Warp grades a pattern from a POM spec table, and Pixie Kaleido nests markers. When they ship, parts of your drawing and your spec values will be sent to a server function (AWS Lambda) to compute the result, then sent back. Those will be the only network round-trips Pixie makes with your data.
We will update this page and tell you on the app surface before any module begins doing this. Until then, treat anything in Pixie Space as fully local.
Cookies, accounts, third parties
No tracking cookies. No tracking pixels. No analytics scripts. Fonts are bundled with the site, not fetched from a CDN.
The one third party is Google sign-in, loaded only where plugins and companion apps need it. It sets what it needs to keep you signed in, and nothing else rides along. We keep no accounts of our own.
Changes
If anything material changes, the date at the top moves and the change is noted in this section.
- 2026-07-26: Google sign-in arrives for plugins and companion applications. The Signing in section is new, and the shipped modules (Pixie Hologram, Gravity auto sew, Gravity auto place, Generation magic pencil) are documented as fully local compute.
