Create
A quiet canvas with the drafting tools you'd expect. Lines, arcs,
splines, polylines, hatches, text. Dimensions and relations on the
elements that need them. Sketch quickly, refine deliberately.
- Snap, polar tracking, ortho, grid, direct distance entry.
- Selection that scales: window, crossing, fence, polygon, by type or layer.
- Vertex grips and inquiry tools (distance, angle, area).
- Local-first. Your drawing, your machine, your control.
Integrate
Pixie Space speaks the formats your pipeline already uses. Bring
drawings in from upstream tools, send them onward when you're done.
- Read and write: pspace, dxf, aama.
- Export: PDF, SVG.
- DXF round-trip carries blocks, hatches, text and dimension styles, layer linetypes.
- Print and plot to scale: 1:1, 1:50, 1/4 inch equals 1 foot, or any ratio. Multi-page tiling with registration marks.
- No conversion server, no account, no waiting.
Pattern making
Draft pattern blocks the way you already do. Round-trip AAMA
markers with production partners. Print or plot to scale at
1:1 for full-size patterns, or tile across multiple sheets
for home printing.
- DXF, AAMA, and pspace round-trip.
- Plot to scale at any ratio with multi-page tiling and registration marks.
- Warp (coming soon) sweeps a POM spec table across the pattern for graded sizes or a made-to-measure fit.
Floor plans
Lay out rooms, doors, windows, and fixtures with dimensions you
can trust. Hatches mark wall fills and floor finishes. Layers
separate structure from electrical from plumbing from furniture.
Print or plot to scale, 1:50 for the overview, 1:1 for the detail.
- DXF for the contractor's CAD, PDF for the client review, SVG for the listing photo.
- Local-first. The apartment plan stays on your laptop unless you send it.
- Plane (future) renders auto-dimensioned sheets and browser walkthroughs.
Sign making
Lay out sign faces with type, dimensions, hatches for color
fills, and outlines for vinyl. Dimension styles fix the readout
format. Text styles keep typography consistent across a campaign.
Drafts survive scaling: the proof you send the client is the
same drawing that drives the plotter.
- SVG for the vinyl cutter, PDF for the proof, DXF for the routered substrate.
- Layer color and lineweight map cleanly to plotter operations.
- Field (future) merges variable data into templates with color-managed print-and-cut.
